Roles for Kids & Families

Serving Others in the Spirit of St. Francis of Assisi

Volunteering to serve others as a family is a great way for parents and children to spend time together in a unique way that strengthens values in a positive direction. Below are a few ideas to consider:

Eucharistic Bread Bakers

Bake Together! Bread bakers help prepare the thousands of Eucharists needed each weekend at Mass.

Coffee & Donut Hospitality

Pick up, set up and serve coffee and donut after Mass. Help build fellowship in the community through this simple action.

Catechist and Catechist Aide

Assist religious education lessons and activities for grades Pre K – 8. Must complete Phoenix Diocese “Safe Environment” training.

Casa Children’s Celebration Volunteer

Help manage the little ones during the 9:15 a.m. Sunday Mass Children’s Celebration. Must complete Phoenix Diocese “Safe Environment” training.

Apache Fair Trade Crafts Volunteer

Assist order taking and sales. Know that your impact helps an American Indian family in Arizona earn a fair wage and maintain their cultural traditions.

Casa Grounds for Solidarity Volunteer

Assist order taking and sales. Your work helps a Mexican family earn a fair wage in their native homeland.
