Justice Formation in the Franciscan Way

Full program starts on October 23 with the Information/Discernment meeting on October 2.

For seven months, a group of 8-12 participants will explore Christ’s call to care for the poor and vulnerable. Participants will explore what it means to live justly in today’s world with the help of St. Francis. Together, the group will encounter Franciscan stories and their own stories in connection to issues in our world today.

Peace ConferenceSaturday, June 19 am – 4 pm With Keynote Speaker: Jon HuckinsJon Huckins is the Co-Founding Director of a peacemaking training organization called Global Immersion Project, helping individuals and communities move toward conflict equipped to heal rather than to win. In addition, he is a Thresholds leadership coach dedicated to helping people inhabit the place one lives by cultivating a community of faith committed to presence, hospitality, reconciliation, and transformation. His leadership coaching work brings to light for today the missio Dei of the early church. Jon writes for numerous publications including, Red Letter Christians, Sojourners, and RELEVANT and has written two books and co-authored others including Mending the Divides with his co-founder of Global Immersion Project, Jer Swigart.
