Single topic Coaching Sessions are offered at the Franciscan Renewal Center throughout the year, and are meant to be a refresher for past participants with a focus on a single area of focus.
Survival School, the renowned educational program which offers training in the essential skills for effective non-profit leadership, is offering short, intensive, single-topic sessions extracted from the curriculum. Join us for all sessions, or only attend those which you feel are most pertinent to your needs. While Survival School is tailored to leaders of non-profit organizations, Survival School Coaching Sessions are intended for all participants who wish to better their managerial and interpersonal skills.
Coaching sessions in the past have focused on: Supervising Volunteers, Influence Achievement, Managing Conflict, Healthy Boundaries, Recruiting and Showing Appreciation for Volunteers, Writing Volunteer Job Descriptions, Finding the Appropriate Leadership Style for the Situation
Each coaching session begins with a high-level overview of the topic, then, we’ll take time to share examples from our own work experiences. Bring your own projects that you are working on, or come to learn and be inspired by the stories of others.
