Youth Ministry

Leading youth and their families into a deeper relationship with Christ and His Church

Prepare for a Worthy Adventure

Youth Ministry Programs

Twice monthly youth ministry sessions for 4th –8th grade are held on Sunday mornings from 10:45am—noon. High school meets several times per month, also on Sunday mornings from 10:45am—noon.

Once per month, in conjunction with Family Catechesis, participants will attend their youth ministry session while parents meet for their own session which will include a speaker and group discussion.  For the additional meetings, there will be a youth ministry session only—no parent session, however a parent room will be available for parents to relax, enjoy refreshments and catch up with each other.

Friends of Francis (Grades 4-5)

Participants will get the chance to learn more about our Franciscan spirituality while continuing to learn how to live out their faith in their lives. We will do this using age-appropriate exploration of what it means to be Catholic, games, crafts, community building and light-hearted discussion. Youth will enjoy no longer being in a classroom setting but instead will be introduced to sessions that have a more “youth ministry” feel to them. This program includes retreats and camp opportunities.*

Middle School (Grades 6-8)

As a continuation of their general faith formation, youth get the opportunity for age appropriate learning, community building, games, and activities. We strive to let every participant know they are important and valuable members of our community. We provide a safe space for sharing and opportunities for growth in developing each person’s spiritual identity. The program includes retreats and camp opportunities.*

High School (Grades 9-12)

We share stories as we build relationships between families. We strive to live out the maxim “all are welcome” in a very real way.

Teens are encouraged to learn about and grow in their faith as we explore what it means to be Catholic through the lens of Franciscan spirituality.  Community building and learning inspires us to answer our call to go out and share the good news. We strive to serve our neighbors and the surrounding community in a variety of ways with hearts full of love and compassion.

The program includes retreats and camp opportunities.*

*EDGE and LIFETEEN camp enrollment and attendance is strongly encouraged; scholarships available.
