Companions in Christ

I will not forget you…

Love one another, as I have loved you

To be a true disciple of Christ means to be a missionary – a witness and companion, a servant to others. As a community, we walk with one another wherever we may be on our journey – a young student in study, a widow in grief, or the ill weakened and in need of simple help. Special roles in the Casa community include teacher, mentor, friend, comforter and more.

To inquire about these or similar volunteer opportunities at the Casa, contact Volunteer Coordinator Pat Bennier, at 480.948.7460, ext. 157, or complete the Volunteer Inquiry Form.

Sample roles:

Are you, or a loved one, sick or homebound?

Companions in Christ also includes visits to the Sick & Homebound from volunteer Pastoral Ministers. Volunteers are companions in prayer who bring the Eucharist to those who cannot leave their home, hospital bed or extended care facility. Whether you need one visit or several for an extended period, the Body of Christ can be strengthening nourishment through trying times.

If you (or a loved one) are unable to attend to mass due to illness, please call the Front Desk at 480.948.7460 to arrange a visit or complete this form to request assistance.
