Our Programs.

1. Retreats

Retreats take place over multiple, consecutive days.

On-campus retreats have the option of overnight lodging as well as space for commuters. Our retreats encourage people to explore spiritual and intellectual growth. Spiritual retreats focus on Franciscan spirituality, contemplation, personal well-being, grief and loss, and much more.

Overnight stays include single or double occupancy rooms with private bath, pool/spa, putting green, on-site dining, numerous outdoor amenities, including a desert walk and healing garden, and a variety of places to pause and reflect in a peaceful environment. Check-in is typically late Friday afternoon with check-out mid-day Sunday for most retreats. Fees generally include meals unless otherwise specified.

2. Workshops & Classes

Workshops are typically one-day commuter programs.

Classes typically meet one day a week over a period of weeks for one fee.

"I have facilitated retreats in numerous Franciscan retreat centers across the United States, in addition to several others internationally in Canada, England, Italy, Scotland, Hong Kong, Whales, Ireland, and the Philippines. And by far, the Franciscan Renewal Center in Scottsdale, Arizona exceeds them all because of its striking landscape, supportive staff, delicious and abundant food service, and especially its newly constructed Church and separate spherical Chapel of the Blessed Sacrament."

Broken and Blessed Retreat for
Suicide Loss Survivors

Marianne Gouveia and Greg Eckerman

October 4 - 6, Friday - Sunday

A retreat for those who have lost a loved one to suicide.

When someone dies by suicide, their loved ones left behind after this tragedy are devastated. In the wake of this devastation, we face existential questions about the mysteries of life and death — Where is God in my pain? Why did God let this happen? Where is my loved one, and are they OK?...
